I would love to know how the order spread across these regions, since that spread must have involved either crossing oceans or the frigid regions that these birds avoid. Both are large, stocky birds, with a large head and long, squared-off tail. Those are good numbers.

We still observed 45 species of birds in the reserve in about an hour and there are always raptors to observe as well as the usual water birds. The small crocodile positions itself near the larger crocodile eating the Magpie Goose and a Black-necked Stork comes over to investigate what is going on. Smaller crocodile moving in.

The idea behind is simple, some birds may move and if counted within a week or a month, double counting is almost guaranteed. Examining them carefully, I notice that the right hand bird has a rufous collar, thick neck, white bristles and more white visible on a folded wing than its neighbour. Snowing rain? Valentines.
