It was reported that more than 28 million crossed the south coast of the UK over one weekend in May 2009. Twitching

Oddly enough, the Common Redpoll ( Acanthis flammea ), my first ever twitch back in the winter of 2009, was spotted within a mile or so from the Snow Bunting on the same road in McArthur.
