We encountered a vicious storm, that convinced us the take a break, find some shelter, and head into Eureka, California. Both species can be found mingling together, in small groups, as they forage for crabs that have been exposed by the receding water. Go find some cool water and plop right down in and chill out!

I began a program for PBS on a group of young kids in a small town in South Dakota. They did the right thing. clothing and shelter. I met such a person and saw an opportunity to help birding and help build appreciation of teachers through my work. On Mother’s Day, an F2 Tornado hit the small town of Delmont, South Dakota.

As I got closer to Geelong there were several groups of Black Swans in the shallows feeding. There are 104 of these artistic bollards and each group has a rabbit painted on it somewhere for children to find! The following bollards show a group of life-savers and one on the right appears to be carrying a Pacific Gull.

Right before Christmas on December 23rd, orphan dogs and cats available for adoption visited the New York Stock Exchange to ring the closing bell and raise awareness for pet adoption! Also joining the group was the Iams Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Angel Jack with his adopted dog Jane (Jack adopted Jane from Bideawee in October).

The National Park is unusual because it offers very few facilities compared to most, but there is a sealed road right into the small car park and a shade shelter with a table and chairs and information about the park.
