I found a stray kitten on Friday night and was playing with it. My husband told me to not touch it, but I’ve held stay cats/dogs before and nothing has ever happened (yes he told me “I told you so”…I don’t need for you to tell me this too).

there is a stray cat in my street, my neighbours feed her, but for some reason, specifically at night never in the morning, she always comes to lay on my lap while I have a smoke, I don't mind her affection at all just confused why she does this despite me not feeding her. Shes a Calico, 1 years old probably less.

A few days ago, I feeding a stray cat (who has lived in my neighborhood since kittenhood, ~1.5 The cat shows no signs of rabies (the only sign of aggression is sometimes hissing when given a bowl of food which is completely normal stray cat behavior). I washed it immediately with soap and water, hand sanitizer, and antiseptic spray.

Post: Hey everyone, I've been feeding a stray cat for the past two years, and unfortunately, he got hit by a car or bike last week. I sent him to shelter for further care and treatment. He's currently at a shelter in Delhi, dealing with a jaw dislocation and an injury to one eye.

This is happening to me very usually. i have never seen this before with anyone.i was walking and a dog sees me , then decides to follow me till home. happened 3 times.any reason? They never tried to hurt me. but i am terrified as hell ,i have never had a dog before. so i can't understand them.

Today i found a streyaed kitten on the crosswalk.When i was going to school it wasnt there but when i came it was there. Someone must have thrown it becuase it was very far away from the box.Me as a teen with a good heart couldnt bear to see it starve.I took t home and my grandma put it in the back of her house.

Bf bitten by a stray kitten My bf was trying to move a kitten out of his way at a work site behind a warehouse where the guys feed a lot of stray cats. The kitten was aggressive and scared, and he bit by bf on the tip of his finger. This was yesterday at 11am, so about a day and a half ago.

Hi everyone -- there is a stray cat in my neighborhood that often dwells around my house. Today she let me pet her and pick her up but she accidently scratched me. the scratches are very light and barely broke the skin, however are a bit red. She has never looked sick or anything so I am not too worried about rabies. should i be concerned?

So my boyfriend and I had a stray dog run up to us in our neighborhood, she seems to be about 7 months, back teeth were just breaking in the day she found us. We decided on keeping her and made sure she had no microchip. Right now we’re thinking she is a basset hound mixed with something else…maybe a wiener dog or beagle?

I don't use any personal IDing social media for personal safety reasons, trying to figure out how to prevent them from being hit by a car, birthing more strays into the neighborhood, or being put down. Stray kittens disappeared Hi all So like a week ago a family of 5 cats randomly appeared outside my society, they looked like they had been dumped because one of them had a good collar on and the moms fur was too good to be stray. Tldr: i fed two strays , sat around with them and when i got up to leave they started barking at me. ​ There are two big stray dogs (one white ,one black) outside my university's dinner. The dinner has some tables outside of the main building and that's where the dogs usually are.

So I have a question for disease experts: I recently have scratched by a stray cat for no particular reason and I got my first shot of rabies vaccine the other day 12-15 hours later from exposure. The size of the scratch which located on my finger is less than a centimeter and I have shown no symptoms or whatsoever. Should I be concerned?
