But when on June 23, 2013 I decided to follow a road just to see where it led, and it led to Pino Real, it was the first in a whole chain of exciting site discoveries. Best Bird of the Weekend (First of August 2013)

Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos return to Broome

The small group of seven Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos that we observed most recently were busy feeding on a native tree. There are occasions when we do have rain during our dry season and this happened in June 2013. They are still destructive as they feed in the native trees.
