There are a couple of species that demand more description, Crimson Rosella for example, with its three highly variable morphological groups, and Australian Masked Owl, with its variability in size and plumage, and that space is allocated. My most recent attempt to see it, earlier this week, was relatively easy, as all I had to do was look for the small group of birdwatchers already watching it. The photograph below was digiscoped in Bulgaria in February 2007. Despite its distinctive plumage, a Red-breast is surprisingly well camouflaged.
