Why do cat lovers prefer cats and not mind dogs while dog lovers absolutely hate cats?

Reddit Animals

I see do much hatred spewed about cats constantly. I've seen social media posts where dogs have literally mauled the kid in the family to death, and posts about how a cat saved a lid from a dog and on these posts people are obsessively commenting that dogs are better than cats no matter what, or it's not the dogs fault.

If your cat or dog is having a litter, is it ok to keep most or a considerable part of the puppies if you have the conditions, or is there risk of inbreeding in the future?

I tried to search the internet for that and for people who raise pets in farms, ranchs, etc, could never find a good answer about how it goes if you keep your pet's entire group of children together with the parent(s) and don't give them away. submitted by /u/StrongAndPowerful [link] [comments]

I need help regarding a possible bite from a stray.

Reddit Animals

So my group stopped at a nearby restaurant in Romania to eat something. There were 2 seeming "strays"(I am not sure both seemed quite well fed and groomed but they stayed in the smoke zone of the restaurant) pups which I begun petting because in my country, there is little to no stray dogs.

Thought experiment

Reddit Animals

In my opinion dogs would be the first to go. Although I love dogs they're too dependent on humans, it's true that stray/feral dogs can form packs and survive in the wild a regular dog like a golden retriever would get eaten by a lion instantly. Cats would be the next. Horses live in groups.
