We had a blast, the family and I, and experienced some amazing natural places, to say nothing of the fine city of Seattle. I got sunburned, Desi suffered a nasty cut over his eye, and all three of us sneezed and sniffled and hacked and coughed with colds. Drawbridges are the bane of humanity. Seattleites are nice. Scary nice.

It's a TLC show about humans that adopt monkeys and treat them as their children. There are hundreds of videos on the Internet of proud parents enjoying their monkeys, and an estimated 15,000 monkeys live with humans as pets or surrogate children in the United States. Who suffers?
