The only bird-related activity I can think of is looking at bird photos I took in Singapore in 2015, and adding some irrelevant comments to them. Presumably, birds living in Singapore do not understand German. Lesser Whistling Ducks are “not threatened by hunting as they are not considered good to eat” ( Wikipedia ).

Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp (Duck Stamp) sales were at their peak in the 1970′s with 2.1 This means that only 11% of hunters buy the Duck Stamp raising approximately $25 million a year. As a birder, this 72 minute documentary film about the Duck Stamp Contest didn’t accomplish what I was hoping it might – get people excited about the Duck Stamp, or at least wildlife conservation. He then takes all the dead mosquitos and puts them on a tray feeder for his feeder birds to eat. This year, his groundskeeper texted to tell me that a bird made a nest in it and it wasn’t working. After a very good Wet Season with substantially more rain than normal over the first few months of 2017 the land was flooded and a huge variety of birds arrived in the Broome area to take advantage of the ideal conditions for breeding.
