What animal has skin flaps that can open to reveal white fur?

It opened its flaps on its chest to show white fur underneath that most of us assumed was just there and not hidden under two folds of skin. I saw that one person in the comments said that the fur smells of popcorn. I'm pretty sure it was a deer or goat that was common knowledge about its existence but never saw in real life.

Group Seeks to Ban Chinese Fur Trade with Australia
