Any clue what animal fur this might be?

I just walked into my backyard a little while ago and saw this large scattering of fur. Any clue as to what may animal left this is or what may have caused this? I wasn’t sure if it was potentially from some sort of fight, but I didn’t see any blood. I live in Central Pennsylvania, if that helps for potentially identifying the animal.

What animal has skin flaps that can open to reveal white fur?

It opened its flaps on its chest to show white fur underneath that most of us assumed was just there and not hidden under two folds of skin. I saw that one person in the comments said that the fur smells of popcorn. I'm pretty sure it was a deer or goat that was common knowledge about its existence but never saw in real life.
