I volunteer for a local animal rescue so I took the dog off her hands, but since this dog hasn’t had medical care, he can’t yet be housed in a shelter as it could put both him and the other animals at risk. I can’t put him in my home because I already have a dog and a cat.

I tweeted about a similar incident about a month ago and someone replied that she was glad there was someone fighting for the safe-dining rights of hawks.
