These people seem to not realize expecting a snake to beat a mongoose is like expecting a pit bull to beat a lion. That means the snake is the underdog. Not the mongoose. It would take a miracle for a snake to kill a mongoose. Or expecting your feisty cat to be able to fight off a German Sheperd. In reality snakes are outmatched.
