The Collins Bird Guide 2nd edition from 2009 was a much hated taxonomical revolution/nightmare, changing just about everything. Left – 2nd edition, right – 3rd edition So, not much has changed since the 2nd edition? That made everyone happy (with the possible exception of other publishers).

My eBird 10th Anniversary

According to eBird , I have been an eBirder since December 23, 2009, so today is my 10th eBird anniversary. In just a few clicks I can determine that my 442nd Mallard sighting was a group of 50 at Steigerwald Lake NWR on October 25, 2019, that the checklist was started at 9:46 a.m and Canada.
