The next day saw us making our way to El Tapir for close views of the Snowcap , a surreal fairy of a creature that stands out in an already surreal family. I have, for the most part, been able to avoid caves since that experience. Much more exciting was the Blue-crowned Hanging Parrot that shot past, followed, on the rather slippery path to the caves, by several Rufous-winged Philentomas.
