No playing with little white dogs, which isn't uncommon for greyhounds. He was 85 pounds (large for a greyhound), very muscular (odd for a greyhound) and spectacularly gorgeous, with Pharaoh Hound-like ears. Far more than a diabetic greyhound. No greyhounds were forced to race in the above photo.

He was adopted by the Masson family and was apparently the most loving dog all who met him had ever had the pleasure of being licked by. And the crying would never stop.

I would never say that vegans have an obligation to veganize their dogs or cats. One of the first things people ask me when they find out I'm vegan and I have dogs is "What do they eat?" If they don't thrive on a diet without animals, then they should eat some animal products. And I certainly feel much better.

This is my darling 83-pound red fawn greyhound, Charles Hobson Booger, III who has been lame for about a year. He has taken to ripping up any paper in sight and lunging at every dog except his greyhound friends on our walks. If Cesar Millan has one thing right it's that a tired dog is a well behaved dog.

In 2007, 394 dogs died during procedures for canine and human research. None of the animal shelters contacted by the Herald Sun have come across ex-research dogs in need of a home.
