Birding the Eshowe area, South Africa

Then, in 2018, other researchers did DNA testing on the sample specimen and found it was just an ordinary Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird with some kind of slight color mutation ( source ). But the text was last updated in 2015 while the DNA research was done in 2018. It must be frustrating. But the same species was never found again.
