This one was so good it caught two fish at a time (just once though). They do like to supplement their diet with small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects. The other Cathartes vultures have an incredible sense of smell and are able to find a small dead fish in the thick and seemingly uniform Tropical Rainforest floor. Whenever I come here, I am focused on birds, but I have had some good mammal sighting as well: a roe deer swimming across a pond (only its head and antlers visible), a pair of otters playing in the water, a curious (young?) Fish will lose their spawning ground, otters and White-tailed Eagles will be no more.
