I can’t even imagine being in a position where my government was telling me to kill my dog, or have it beaten to death. Dog owners in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, are even being told to kill their own dogs, or else their dogs will be beaten to death by the police and the owners will be charged a fine.

So my dog is 10. She’d stand there and pee down her leg right in front of us, couldn’t control her bowels or bladder. Within a few days of losing Sasha, our other dogs behavior got really bad out of nowhere. Well my dog decided to eat the fan cord today. My youngest is also terrified of dogs, so that doesn’t help.

Hopping almost right next to me, I later identified it as the Boat-tailed Grackle ! Their wedding, which was beautiful, was held right on the beach.
