The latter is possible, as the undisturbed areas of Nanhui keep shrinking, leaving less and less space for birds. Their strong presence here at Nanhui in combination with their highly threatened status should be a good argument to protect Nanhui better. Somehow, for this bird it is ok. They are just too attractive.

Weve been seeing a giant crow getting close to it all day today and many other birds have been fighting it off. Im honored that all these animals choose our backyard to live but im very sad that so many of them dont make it.
