We heard, but didn’t see, a Brown Wood-ow l, and best of all a massive cat-sized Red Giant Flying Squirrel and a rabbit-sized Sunda Stink-badger. This Cream-coloured Giant Squirrel was one of the highlights of Sepilok’s Rainforest Discovery Centre. It is hard to tell, but it is massive!

As long as they had no drugs in their system, and as long as they weren’t touched by a cat (and thus contaminated with salmonella/pasteurella/Bartonella, etc.) He then ate a screech owl, a robin, two squirrels, a mourning dove, three chipmunks, and a rabbit. We have at least 4 different bird feeders which draw in a large number of birds and squirrels. In addition, our neighbor's cats are also frequent visitors (OK, sometimes we sneak food to them). One thing I really like about our yard is that it is so animal friendly.

You typically do not find a bird this naked or featherless outside of the nest unless there has been a storm or the nest has been attacked by predator like a raccoon, chipmunk, squirrel or corvids. They don’t build nests and some like Great Horned Owls take over old hawk or squirrel nests. That is probably one of the adults.

I don't know if she was being sarcastic, but in my town I see dead armadillos, opossums, raccoons, all manner of turtles, and squirrels dead in the middle of the road frequently. As someone whose cat (technically my sister's cat) disappeared when we were kids, I know the pain of wondering what has happened.

I have never once seen a cat anywhere in my neighborhood. None of my neighbors have cats and I'm only aware of one dog owner blocks away. Lots of squirrels, chipmunks, deer, rabbits. I'm sure most people would say probably a cat. or even this city for that matter. but that's pretty much it for mammals.
