I can’t help noticing that you’ve just posted an angry story about Cecil the Lion on your timeline. And that lions are really cute. Cecil the Lion reached millions, and it exploded all over my social media in a way few conservation stories do (even with my social media heavily biased towards conservation).

There are beautiful beaches, a plethora of amazing food and drinks, a multitude of family fun locations, a world-renowned zoo, and one of the biggest birding festivals in the US. My family visited San Diego every year as part of a Disneyland-SoCal Road trip to escape the rainy Christmases at home near Portland, Oregon.

Incidentally, encounters with both aardvarks and zorillas are rare – it’s much easier to see lions and leopards. Lion – much easier to see than an Aardvark In contrast to East Africa, encounters with mammals while out birding in Europe are relatively few. Why not the stoat family or the badger family?)

Why don't Pumas/Mountain Lions/Lynx form packs?

which are also animals) On Netflix's "Predators" they show a Puma family that doesn't form a pack but it seems like life in a group would be a lot easier. It seems like creating packs is the best survival method for animals and humans. Similarly wolves and coyotes do form packs and have quite a bit of success.

In the mornings, and I use that term loosely, we would set out to monitor the Lions. Lions were re-introduced to the park a few years ago and have done so well the park now serves as a source of Lions for translocations. The first Lions to be re-introduced to Rwanda a few days ago were sourced from Tembe.
