Bird Day: A Story of 24 Hours and 24 Avian Lives–A Book Review

10,000 Birds

Forest Bathing

10,000 Birds

Now that I have driven that to a state of relative completion and I am compelled to return to the forest, I learned that the government here has re-opened the hunting season. All of these experiences have been with brown/black/gray birds, birds known for their camouflage. Which is why seeing them was such a great experience.

The Four Goshawks

10,000 Birds

Yet, one other hunting attempt in the same area I do remember. The next memorable hunt came from winter 2006/07. I know, how could Mike be impressed by the humble Goshawk when presented with a Saker or a pair of Eastern Imperial Eagles? The year was 1996 and it must have been quite a sight – if I only could remember it!
