A cat can live for nearly twenty years, one lived for nearly forty. Turtles can live for extremely long amounts of time. So people can live for like a hundred years or even longer if they live a healthy life and die of natural causes. So what variables make the largest impact on the maximum lifespan of a species?

Perhaps their next product will be named “Gills”—or “Turtle” or “Trout” or Salmon?” Syngenta warns that “Talon” is “hazardous to dogs, cats, pigs, poultry and other wildlife.” Motomco also makes “Jaguar” and “Tomcat,” complete with cat icons, of course. Tomcat seemed a better, more aggressive sounding choice than just ‘Cat’.

Feral cats are a huge problem in Australia and they do take a lot of the eggs. These are not pet cats, but cats that have only ever lived in the wild and can survive in extreme conditions. We helped it out and returned it to the reef, so hopefully it will be OK.

This thrush actually is among the prey items of the very rare Iriomote Cat, a cat that lives only on a small island. This certainly applies to the relatively featureless Pale Thrush , which basically lives up to its unpromising name rather well. Possibly a survivor of siblicide (which would make it a killer, right?).
