Pied Oystercatcher breeding update

We have continued to monitor the nest sites and the pairs of Pied Oystercatchers over the past few months and the birds are really having a tough year this year. There was only one that survived to fledge in 2010, two in 2011 and two in 2012. Pied Oystercatcher shading and protecting its chick.
