They packed up in June of 2013 and headed south from San Diego with the southern tip of South America as their destination. The Dry Tortugas National Park is located some 70 miles off of Key West in a small group of keys that makes up the farthest points included in the state of Florida, so it was no surprise that we had a four hour boat ride ahead of us before landing in the park.
