Come September most of the summer seabird people had left, but there were a small number of seabirds still breeding and so I stayed behind for three years to continue their monitoring and do the migrant landbird surveys, as well as the Great White Shark surveys. A pair has been nesting by the roadside for some years, but they are not so predictable outside of the breeding season. The lower part of this loop often has much less human disturbance than the top half and thus can be more productive. It can be found on the road which loops off from the main trail.
