A couple of years ago I wrote about whether it's a good use of my time to be a purist about the term "animal rights" when most of the world doesn't have the same understanding of the term as I do. Or how a paragraph would refer to animal rights and animal welfare as if they're interchangeable.

just wanna start by saying idk if this is the right subreddit to be posting to, but it was the best i could find. so back in mid-july me and my cousin found two kittens, probably about like two weeks old. they were pretty small, about the size of my hand. we also discovered a third kitten in the litter who had gotten ran over in the road.
