I've been under the radar for a bit, anxiously awaiting the adoption finalization of Baby Sky. But now that she's officially ours, I feel like I can write about a topic that means a lot to me without the fear that my words might somehow jeopardize the adoption. For some reason, they have a deep desire to duplicate themselves.

Similar to the (fortunately now gradually changing) situation among humans in China, these birds seem to prefer males over females. Apparently, King Parrot are an Australian grindcore band formed in Melbourne in 2010. So, I can only give you the sanitized version of the joke, in which humans have been replaced by birds.

American Humane and ARCH (Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti). Adopt a displaced pet. If you’re looking for a pet, consider adopting a cat or dog displaced by the recent disasters. Petfinder.com lists animals for adoption. There is great human need after these natural disasters and it is right to help where we can.

We who want humans to stop using sentient nonhumans have few victories to celebrate. That decision was threatened, however, when Senate Budget Amendment 155 was introduced, which would have allowed racing to continue for several years beyond the original (2010) date of cessation. Some get adopted into great homes.

She goes to the door, rejects the notion of going out, turns toward her dinner; goes back to the door, because clearly this human is not listening.
