Pulling Birds at Panti Forest in Malaysia

Now that’s a tropical woodpecker… Crimson-winged Woodpecker. Plus, I saw awesome bats, bugs, butterflies, herps, pitcher plants, and four of the five possible monkey species: Dusky Leaf Monkey , Banded Leaf Monkey , Southern Pig-tailed Macaque , and Long-tailed Macaque.

Birding the Trinity Hills

Nothing showed except for a Lineated Woodpecker which I only saw as it flew off. We also saw a small group of Guianan Red Howler Monkeys feeding nearby. A Guianan Trogon called in the distance but we continued, aware of the distance yet to be covered. Grey-headed Kite. Turquoise Tanager.
