We had a blast, the family and I, and experienced some amazing natural places, to say nothing of the fine city of Seattle. To go by the numbers, I saw 79 species of bird while in Washington (150 county ticks), 21 of which were year birds and 8 of which were lifers. Drawbridges are the bane of humanity. Seattleites are nice.

There are hundreds of videos on the Internet of proud parents enjoying their monkeys, and an estimated 15,000 monkeys live with humans as pets or surrogate children in the United States. Who suffers? He says he hunts out of a need to take responsibility for his family, who evidently live where the supermarkets offer no meat. Animals suffer when killed. No pearly phrases can make that any better.
