It’s going to get down to 43 degrees and we have a very active cat neighborhood. She came and scooped up the first 3 within 30 minutes. The last one we placed about an hour after, it’s been out there all alone in the box for two hours now.

There's nothing worse than one dead animal being partially responsible for the death of one live animal. I don't know if she was being sarcastic, but in my town I see dead armadillos, opossums, raccoons, all manner of turtles, and squirrels dead in the middle of the road frequently.

I have never once seen a cat anywhere in my neighborhood. None of my neighbors have cats and I'm only aware of one dog owner blocks away. We do have a possum and a raccoon that live somewhere on the property. I'm sure most people would say probably a cat. or even this city for that matter. Not even in a window.
