There are black bears in the back country but sightings are apparently really rare, which is good, because I'm quite afraid of bears. It was from a distance at first so I thought it might be someone's dog, but as it got closer, I realized it was a bear before I could even see it. It was running for about 10 seconds.

The Three Bears general store has been called out time and time again for mistreating these Bears, the bears look miserable have no clean water, all water in the sanctuary is dyed. A person threw an apple into the area and an elderly Asiatic Brown Bear quickly scrambled to lap it up leaving no pieces behind.

My theory is that the transition from a close relationship with their moms to be suddenly chased off makes bears angry and they have resentment. Note how friendly bear cubs are to humans vs adult bears. I am sure there are counter examples, but the separation I believe accounts for the aggression in adult bears.

So i just saw a short on YouTube about a black bear, just chilling with a group of people at a picnic table and he calmly sat down and ate a sandwich with them. I've also seen a video of a grizzly just lazing about next to a man near a river stream, like literally 3 feet away from the guy.

I could be wrong) So an animal doesn’t lactate because of lifestyle changes but because it knows it needs to feed the baby why haven’t animals adapted to always make milk.
