The DVD packaging features three cherubic children, a cartoon owl, and a Red-bellied Woodpecker. The owl, on the other hand, is annoying, clumsily done, and distracting. Even my cats turned away from the television when the owl would come on screen, only to come back when it was only real birds.

The next morning we were on the island exploring and going for a hike out to Ewing cove, where I ran across Hammonds Flycatchers, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Spotted Towhees, Savannah Sparrows, House Wrens, Bewick’s Wrens, White-crowned Sparrows , and a pair of Black Oystercatchers along the shore where we landed the dinghy.
