Best Bird of the Weekend (Second of April 2016)

I spent several hours of an otherwise excellent weekend dipping multiple times on a rare ABA Tufted Duck. Fortunately, Conesus Lake holds all manner of superb waterfowl, including more Common Loons in breeding plumage than I’ve ever seen at one time. That’s a win in my book.
