The Queen

Just before Thanksgiving, 2010, a driver spotted a Red-tailed hawk sitting on a dead rabbit in the middle of the road. A group of us gathered to release her near the spot where she was found. The grand old bird became a surrogate mother, and raised them herself. And to prove it, there’s The Queen. She deserved her freedom.

Service Members Get a Second Chance with Service Dogs

The DDF will be raising $20,000 for the training and care of a service dog (including medical bills, training and food) which will be donated to one lucky war vet from the FSD group. DDF will raise the money for the service dog by raffling off a used Jeep that features a custom paint job and custom parts.
