The sub-adult Bald Eagle ( Haliaeetus leucocephalus ) below was photographed from the same blind. The auto tour at Colusa NWR also boasts several other pretty special birds, like this White-faced Ibis ( Plegadis chihi ) … and a Black-crowned Night-Heron ( Nycticorax nycticorax ) roost.
