India was not on my list of places to go in 2016. The species is crepuscular and nocturnal, but can sometimes be seen during the day. I had not planned on birding India in 2016, but I’m very happy I did. It was a big owl. Well, the Dusky Eagle-Owl was big too, but for some reason, the Fish-Owl seemed huge.
