He found it in Gay Frazee , a skilled wildlife rehabber who runs Wildlife ER on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She is one of only two rehabbers on a 70-mile peninsula right in the middle of the eastern flyway, a superhighway for migrating birds. He kept her supplied with minnows as he searched for help. It’s their home.
