Muir, thankfully, was not the least interested in the smaller mammal, and only a little confused about why our walk had been interupted. Moreover, it is not really an August disease, but a problem most often seen in hibernation.

Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Southeastern North America and of Northeastern North America: A Review of Two Field Guides

10,000 Birds

Moth plates from Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Northeastern North America (left plate) and Southeastern North America (two right plates). The guides are organized taxonomically and laid out in the traditional Peterson manner—illustrations on the right, text of the left. Moths are more than bird food. Let that sink in.
