Opportunistic Herons Catching Fish

Earlier this summer I convinced the eBird hotspot maven for New York, Ben Cacace, to make Bridge Creek a hotspot and so far I am the only one who has taken advantage of it. But why had these herons chosen this particular spot to go fishing? Never have I been so glad not to be a fish! Fresh fish for breakfast!
