Pied Oystercatcher chicks two weeks on….

The wind was just too much and they sheltered together in the vegetation at the high tide mark. In the photo above there is one chick trying to avoid the wind under the vegetation to the right of the tail of the Pied Oystercatcher on the left. Pied Oystercatcher chick sheltering from the wind.
