Pelican Release with International Bird Rescue

There are advantages to being a “Pelican Partner” for International Bird Rescue ! Such was the case with the two juvenile Brown Pelicans I was chosen to release back into the wild. Their release process began with inspecting and banding the birds.

A Relaxing Big Day in Florida

My Great Backyard Bird County on the Florida Panhandle

Dedicated to science, conservation, and education, the reserve focuses on the smaller Weeks Bay, which in turn connects to Mobile Bay. Besides our engines, birds made up the majority of the noise.
