Licensed wildlife rehabilitator and Assistant Director Michele Wellard relayed this story: In the spring a few years back, a man cut down a tree on his property outside Philadelphia.

My dogs dug up the top of a rabbit burrow with several baby rabbits. How do I damage control?

I walked over and saw they had revealed a rabbit burrow with maybe four or five baby rabbits, not sure how old they were but their eyes were closed. My dogs hadn’t touched any of the rabbits, they were all totally fine so I immediately brought my dogs inside. I just want those little guys to live happy rabbit lives.

You need to get it to a wildlife rehabilitation center.
