Despite, or maybe because of the active human intervention, quite a few species can be seen in a couple hours in the morning. (I I averaged forty species on my visits and I imagine that if my ear was more attuned to the chip notes of southern California birds I could come up with more.) But the Coyote count didn’t stop at three.

It takes a lot of nerve—or something that can’t be printed here—to name your rat poison after the animals that so effectively and efficiently control rodents but that are also being poisoned—as “non target” animals—by your product. I’ll leave today’s blog in her capable hands.

Acting over the top and not saying its acting hurts such animals reputation(let alone the fact that he isnt being transperent about how much it actually hurt). Plants, animals, as well as birds. This area, with its year round water supply, supports a huge amount of life, with coyotes, fox, bobcat and many different rodents, like this Mexican Ground Squirrel. There is also a kitchen dining room building across the courtyard. This Banded Rock Lizard was catching bugs near our casita.

He also had tigers, cougars, and some other animals. This is approximated by the size of the animal, but really, this has to be adjusted for depending on modality of killing. Smaller and larger animals (if there are any) are taken by other creatures. That part of the carnivore landscape is taken by other animals.
