I remember the guide on my first Kenyan birding safari remarking that “birding groups always see far more mammals than those who come just to see animals. Incidentally, encounters with both aardvarks and zorillas are rare – it’s much easier to see lions and leopards. Only in Africa is it really easy to see a big variety.

Who would win in a fight, a Lion or a Grizzly Bear?

Say you get a few tigers, lions, wolves, bears, mate em and make an army for the sole purpose of war, get a few tigers turn em into war cats. Release them wherever the enemies are at night, highly trained war cats stealthily take out the outpost being guarded, how would this not work?

In Oregon you can’t own any “dangerous” wild animals, but you can get a special permit for a service monkey and anyone can fill their backyard with giraffes. Are we fed up yet?
