He gave one to his home institution, the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia and the other to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Over the next few days, I found increasing numbers, goldfinches, juncos, white-throated sparrows. I picked up a Downy Woodpecker, an every-day visitor.
