The adult Pied Oystercatchers were still at their non-breeding site at Gantheaume Point and will no doubt lay their first eggs for 2015 in the first week of July. We had thought we had completed our year list for 2014, until we had a surprise encounter with a Little Eagle on 28th December. Magpie-lark nest on a ladder!
