Emiliana Natura Rosé (2020)

There’s a ( Eurasian) Blue Tit ( Cyanistes caeruleus ) flitting around some flowers and butterflies, while what is likely another European member of the family Paridae – possibly either a Willow Tit ( Poecile montanus ) or Marsh Tit ( Poecile palustris ) – seems to alight on the letter “T” in “Natura”. Being of the Tyrant-Flycatcher family, kingbirds are simply called Tiranos, or Tyrants, in Mexico. In my region, they are called José María. José María!

Easy, Bonus Birding at Cano Negro, Costa Rica

Ironically, thanks to the non-sustainable, land poisoning agriculture seen en route, there is a straight, fast, good road that zooms right on up to Los Chiles, the closest town to Cano Negro. From the Arenal area, it’s a pretty quick hour and a half deal up to Los Chiles. Get those bonus birds at Los Chiles and Cano Negro!
