Saw-whet Owl Released in Central Park

A Northern Saw-whet Owl , turned in two months ago in Brooklyn after it was found injured, was released in Central Park today after being rehabilitated. I’m linking to this article mostly because of the great picture of two park rangers releasing the bird, which was tagged with the moniker Owl Jolson during its recovery.
